4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Not too many of the Branch members were at church this week cuz they were sick and/or busy but yeah.  Nothing crazy has happened really, its been quite the same as always except for Tuesday was good, had some lessons and they went super good. Live And Learn

Hola todos It's been a week to say the least, pretty slow and not too much getting done. Its been a little harder to find and have the willpower to keep trying even when it doesnt work. But yeah you live and learn We have been getting fed quite well this last week and so that has been awesome. Not much has been happening honestly, just no one answering and if they do they are "too busy" or not interested. But we did have a Carne Asada celebration for Fathers day on friday that was good.  Other than that, just had zone council that was aight on Saturday and the church yesterday was good, had some people come that havent for a while and ate dinner with the Branch President and his wife and they are so awesome. But yeah just pushing forward hoping for changes soon and to be able to work hard.  Anyways have a great week everyone and keep your head up, God has a plan

Another Week Serving The Lord

This week was definetly a week. Didnt feel like it but it was, pretty interesting as well.  DC was pretty good last week, President Botchways showed up out of nowhere and scared me. But it was good then helped some people pack up to move a lil but they were not ready so we couldnt do too much. But then had a pretty chill day.  We were trioing on Wednesday since our roommates comp got his Visa and went to Taiwan, it was pretty average day, him and my comp act quite younger then their age sometimes but it was fine. Had our Noche del Libro de Mormón and helped some sisters move apartments. Me and my comp fasted on wednesday night and Thursday morning for our friend Alejandro to have a change of heart and not get baptized in another church, we dont know if he did or night cuz he hasnt really answered us...but yeah had some good lessons on Thursday and a lil ZLC.  Did an emergency shopping run on Friday since we had like 0 food in the apt minus all the snacks my mom sends me. ...
