!!! A TONGAN FEAST !!!

Hola muchas cosas están sucediendo. 


First off had quite a few really good lessons this week which has been great. Soccer last p day was really fun too. Tongans really love pickleball, they are always playing at the church but it is a fun game. There was a funeral for one of the Spanish group member's son Cristian. The chapel was literally full and there was still more peeps. It was fuego and then had some good Hispanic food and then right after also had a member meal (that was not nearly as good). Then played some games with our recent convert and her roommate with the señor couple.


 Church was fuego today, it was our ward conference and I blessed the sacrament en español like always and we had 2 friends pull up and one gas told us he wants to be a member and the other we met for the first time and after our little lesson with him he wanted to be baptized so he can be ready to meet God. He's absolutely elect and great. Then had a Tongan Feast, no joke literally a feast. Wish I took picks, it was crazy. Tons of food and it was really good. Took home a ton too since they love missionaries and it was just really cool. 


       It snowed in the morning yesterday, then rained, then hailed, then was sunny, then rainy, then sunny again, then rainy again. Had fuego district council and also interviews with the mish pres which also as good. Some Tongan members who are about to be missionaries came and país for our lunch at a teriyaki place. Had some fire lessons and as we pulled up to this one friends apt. They literally were pulling in so we taught them and read the BofM with them. Fuego. 
       Estoy un poco más que un poco molesto con mis amigos de cuarto porque mi compañero es muy perezoso y un otro misionero es el apartamento es un bebe. Digo este porque su companero es un poco lento con las cosas de misional pero él está tratando. Pero necesito preocuparme sobre yo primero y entonces yo podrá para convertir otros.


Something that I think is pretty enlightening is the pmg definition of integrity. You might think that integrity is just doing the right things always, which it is of course but it's also not lowering your standards for anything or anyone. So not just doing the right but avoiding the wrong. I feel a little lacking there this week just in general. But to have integrity we need charity. Charity is literally overpowered, if you have charity you'll have faith, hope, virtue, integrity, patience, diligence, consecratedness, humility, and obedientness. Also Moroni 7: 44-48 talk bout that. 


Should be playing soccer today, maybe basketball, getting a haircut,  hopefully bowling but a lot of the other missionaries are broke so prolly not:( . And probably a lot of doing nothing since my comp is lazy but we'll see. Espero que tenga una buena semana todos.

Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. 4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Not too many of the Branch members were at church this week cuz they were sick and/or busy but yeah.  Nothing crazy has happened really, its been quite the same as always except for Tuesday was good, had some lessons and they went super good. Time Is So Weird But Probably Like The 3rd Week Here In Portland

  More buñuelos from our amazing friends we taught and they are just so great and I'm hoping we can get them to church and then into the water next. Also went bowling which is kinda a weekly pday tradition now and I was doing really good. Sadly we ran out of time and couldn't finish the second game, but it was so fun.      The Alameda ward here is really weird. They are all old. No youth except for one deacon and the Spanish group of the ward is like 8-10 people which sucks. But it is what it is and there's a lot of work to do.    Cleaned the church saturday and there was literally 5 of us total pero esa limpieza era bueno porque después comemos Rosca de Reyes which was so good with some fire Hot chocolate.     I'm getting pretty decent at basketball since we play literally everyday except Sundays for our workouts among other things.      I just finished the BofM yesterday which I started at the beginning of at home MTC.
