Crazy Is The New Normal

Hey everyone, (saludos)

This week has been a good one, Had our noche de Hogar and my old comp from last transfer came back with his family and it was fun. Our soccer night was at a different building than usual but it was fun and definitely am getting a lot better at soccer.

I went on 2 exchanges this week, one with the ZL on friday and we had our friend Rodilin pass his baptismal interview and then a member took us out for tacos and it was epic! 

Then on Saturday had his baptism and it was not very packed, except for my old comp and his fam, because our members were at a quinceanera. But it was awesome and he bore fire testimony outside of the font before and it was so powerful! 

Kinda botched the confirmation a lil but everything was done properly just my spanish cramped during it. But then went to another baptism to give talks for it and it was cool, Lots of spirit-felt days lately! Had a member meal after that, which was awesome and we had some good food.

Then there was also a DL meeting/training that was fire, lots of great stuff being taught. DC the next day was pretty good hopefully, and then went on exchanges with the Chuukese Elders and had a good day. Some good Mexican food is always very appreciated here! 

Gonna be a very interesting next 2 weeks, we are going to be trioing it up and covering 2 entire zones that are very busy and 1 spanish ward and 1 spanish group. But hay vamos. I can testify that God is there and He will change our lives and we allow Him to take hold and make our lives so much better and meaningful! Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. 4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Time Is So Weird But Probably Like The 3rd Week Here In Portland

  More buñuelos from our amazing friends we taught and they are just so great and I'm hoping we can get them to church and then into the water next. Also went bowling which is kinda a weekly pday tradition now and I was doing really good. Sadly we ran out of time and couldn't finish the second game, but it was so fun.      The Alameda ward here is really weird. They are all old. No youth except for one deacon and the Spanish group of the ward is like 8-10 people which sucks. But it is what it is and there's a lot of work to do.    Cleaned the church saturday and there was literally 5 of us total pero esa limpieza era bueno porque después comemos Rosca de Reyes which was so good with some fire Hot chocolate.     I'm getting pretty decent at basketball since we play literally everyday except Sundays for our workouts among other things.      I just finished the BofM yesterday which I started at the beginning of at home MTC.
