Snow. Yay.

Hola hola everyone I hate the cold but Portland said here you go anyway. Anyways


    Played pickleball for the first time and it was pretty fun and also set a new record with my bowling score to 148. So that was fun. Had interview w/ da Mish pres and it went good. Took a trip to the other side of portland to pick up doc papers and then drop them off at the Mish office. 
     Got a supply drop from my mom this week too(package of tons of snackys and all sorts of goodies). Had a bunch of lessons cancell which sucked but found a very interested guy that we taught. 


    Also went on exchanges again actually since the DL went with my comp so i went to the English area of my ward again, but with a different elder. It went good, it was a pretty good day. Snowed a couple times this week and is absolutely freezing which sucks since I absolutely despise and hate the cold but I'm getting used to it. 
    Since it's snowy and icy lots of people "cant drive" because they think 1 inch of snow is a lot and they are just not the greatest drivers. But the wind is going to kill me, it is so bad here. We were stuck in the apartment cuz of the snow which was super boring.


    Our church got canceled this sunday too because of the snow which sucked cuz we had a ton of friends that were most likely going to pull up. And the power was out almost all of Saturday and a little of Sunday too.
   Then some other Élder's apartment flooded cuz some pipes froze and burst. So they are staying in our place so we made one room storage, another room for the desks, and the living room is the new sleeping room w/ "mega bed". It's been quite crazy since we've been stuck inside all day as in super boring. But did the sacrament w/ pancakes with like 14 ish elders and it was really cool and spiritual. 


     Stuck inside yesterday too which started ok we played pickleball for our workout and then chilled as we were stuck inside. Walked to get lunch and then came back and played cover your assets and uno for a while. Then celebrated one of the Elders birthdays and chilled. 
  Had a snack run with one of my roommates to the gas station down the street since we can't drive still. Got a bunch of loot and had a fun time with him. Sadly we will probably be stuck inside today too which is going to be awful. It's been so boring and difficult to do anything really productive but it's getting there.


Got a favor to ask everyone who wants to im just curious, if you had to describe me in 10 or less words what would they be. Also love and miss ya'll.

Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. 4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Not too many of the Branch members were at church this week cuz they were sick and/or busy but yeah.  Nothing crazy has happened really, its been quite the same as always except for Tuesday was good, had some lessons and they went super good. Time Is So Weird But Probably Like The 3rd Week Here In Portland

  More buñuelos from our amazing friends we taught and they are just so great and I'm hoping we can get them to church and then into the water next. Also went bowling which is kinda a weekly pday tradition now and I was doing really good. Sadly we ran out of time and couldn't finish the second game, but it was so fun.      The Alameda ward here is really weird. They are all old. No youth except for one deacon and the Spanish group of the ward is like 8-10 people which sucks. But it is what it is and there's a lot of work to do.    Cleaned the church saturday and there was literally 5 of us total pero esa limpieza era bueno porque después comemos Rosca de Reyes which was so good with some fire Hot chocolate.     I'm getting pretty decent at basketball since we play literally everyday except Sundays for our workouts among other things.      I just finished the BofM yesterday which I started at the beginning of at home MTC.
