When In Portland...
Rolled my ankle at morning b ball and limped the rest of the day/week. Also had tres fuego lecciones el miercoles y fue un buen dia.
Got transfer news this Thursday and I'm staying. But my comp/trainer is leaving and training and whitewashing again and also going to am English area on bike and this will be the 5th missionary he will have trained in over 9+ months. Which sucks. He's also pretty upset about it because he doesn't like training. So that's not great but Mish pres knows best. But I will be leading out for the first time ever which is kinda scary but should be good, hopefully. I just have no idea what im doing or what all im supposed to do.
He's name is Elder Bishop. And I've heard mixed things about people who have lived or served with him. He's pretty cool tho and he's cracked at piano and music in general. He has 2 transfers left and one of our guys we are teaching he taught 18 months ago. Which is sick cuz he was on date then nothing and now he's close again. We got quite a change in our zone, 2 new roommates and around 8 or 9 new peeps in the zone. It's going to be an experience to say the least with the new roommies.
There's a ton of really old cars that are pretty kept up here in my area at least but probably just portland in general. It's pretty cool.
And I started the BofM again and am maybe going to try to finish by the end of the transfer(6weeks) but idk im a little behind my plan. But my favorite parts of the the BofM is when the righteous/prophets rebuke and completely roast people so simply and powerfully.
Had 0 friends at church this Sunday and almost had to translate for the few Spanish group members that came. But didn't have to luckily. Gave a tiny little baby girl a blessing en Español and made it though the blessing. Costco lunch is such a good deal, literally had a huge pizza slice and a 20oz drink for less than 3 bucks. Awesome.
Also in a new district but same zone and the señor missionaries are so fuego and awesome and spanish so they work with us and another compship. But they talk a lot a lot but are very spiritually powerful. And they bake some amazing stuff for us too.
