Un Buenísima Semana!

Image
Where to begin, this week was a blast honestly. Had noche de fútbol and it was super fun, played with some really profesional Hispanics and it was a lot of fun. There are 6 spanish missionaries in the Evergreen Sp Ward, me and my comp and 4 hermanas. 2 in training and the Spanish kills me but I understand where they were but kinda, mine wasn't really like that. But then had a correlación meeting and it went well       Then had Zone Council on Friday which was good, then tried Gresham Burrito which was fuego, next day got money from a member too. Then we went to a Stake cultural event that was so cool, tried and ate so much mexican food that was so good. Then ate at a mexican restaurant for dinner that day too with the hermanas and a few elders.         Had a bunch of friends come to church and they had little tiny adorable kids that were crazy. Had such a chaotic class afterwards but a good one and then has a fuego member meal that fed us mexican ...

Cambios!!

Hey everyone cómo le va todo. Last wednesday we had a pretty fuego English class and then before that got 5 referrals. Then on Thursday got transfer news and I'm leaving my first area to Gresham which is close and with Elder Larson who I served around 2 transfers ago a lil. Pretty excited and also super stressed but that's life and change is good. Had like 0 motivation to do anything on Thursday but I gave a talk about the Holy Ghost at a baptism for some other Elders which was cool.  Im driving again!! It is so great to be driving again, and its a new Nissan Rogue. I literally have no idea what im doing or where I'm going yet but it's fine. Church was amazing in a Spanish ward compared to a Spanish group that was just giving up. Had 2 fuego member meals and one of them was... POZOLE! And I ended up eating way too much, over 4 bowls full amd died after trying a super spicy salsa type thing. Literally killed me. There are now 4 sister's and me and my companion coveri...

La Ultima Semana Del Transfer

Buen día  Cómo le va todo? Recently I have been cranking out phone calls and texts and I think it has helped my spanish quite a bit. On Thursday I also sent a referral to Cuba! It was so exciting, it was  my first one too. Went on an exchange on Friday which was pretty good, until we got taught a 40 minute completely false blasphemous gospel from this one guy that was also racist and very bold. It was the worst. I was shooketh for quite a while, not my testimony or anything just in general. I have eaten out pretty much at least once a day and also been getting paid by members instead of fed but that's all right. But we did get some pozole from one of the group members that was really good actually.        We had a temple tour with our friend Rowan and the senior couple the Walls and it was fuego. Just so cool he is just such an amazing friend and he just wants to change and loves Jesus. We put him on date for the 20th, this Saturday which is the day after t...

Im So Dead, But God Is Good

Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. Had a really great day that day but i was just so dead to feel it.         Had zone training and interviews and 3 lessons and a couple good contacts. But got home early a...

Sunny Days Are Here At Last

Hola.      Later on Tuesday we had a fuego lesson and then ran into a friend we have been trying to for a while on accident then another one right after. It was so fuego and very spirit filled. It was so genial.      Had exchanges on wednesday and I Led out in español and it was scary but fun and easy. But we had 6 lessons set up and every one of them canceled but then ended up with 5 unplanned lessons and had a fuego day. My Spanish has leaped after today I would say. It was my comp's b-day on Thursday and we had Red Robins for lunch and Wendys for dinner.        Some random member from another ward paid for our taco bell the other day too which was cool. I now have the SIM so there's lots of texts and calls we are making and its kinda a lot but it's not too bad, keeps me busy. Made some gluten-free pudding cake which tasted like the normal one but a little dense since I had to improvise a couple things since we don't have much at the a...
