Im So Dead, But God Is Good
Hola
Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)
On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. Had a really great day that day but i was just so dead to feel it.
Had zone training and interviews and 3 lessons and a couple good contacts. But got home early and got to bed at around 9:30pm. In the morning my fever was gone I was just so exhausted from going all day dying that I just had 0 energy.
My Mish pres just has a way of making all my concerns just go away with a super simple answer. GENERAL CONFERENCE!!!! Oh yeah such a fuego week. Even though I was sick and just slowly dying all week had some amazing days despite my body. We watched in Spanish so I missed quite a bit of things but I'll rewatch them asap. But it was nice, I understood the mainly doctrine they were sharing and we had 3 friends watch, 2 in person with us and 1 online. I love our prophet and hope he never dies ever. But yeah pretty crazy week.
I scared my companion so bad for a member meal it was so funny. The member makes "octopus" spaghetti every time a new missionary is in the ward. And my comp hates seafood. So he was stressing all week and then was freaking out during the meal until it was revealed to Him that it was sausage that looked like octopus cuz the noodles. It was so funny. But phone work is draining. I've been texting a lot of older dots and it is a lot and its hard to remember everything. But God is good and we are still doing fine.
Might be having a baptism right before transfers next week but lots of complicated stuff cuz of his background and whatnot. Gonna be crazy but we'll figure it out probably. Had a fuego DC yesterday and had a pretty stressful week in general. Pero todo está bien gracias a Dios.
Went to the temple this morning too, literally the coolest temple ever. Then played among us at a church building that was kinda weird but pretty fun too.
