Sunny Days Are Here At Last
Hola.
Later on Tuesday we had a fuego lesson and then ran into a friend we have been trying to for a while on accident then another one right after. It was so fuego and very spirit filled. It was so genial.
Had exchanges on wednesday and I Led out in español and it was scary but fun and easy. But we had 6 lessons set up and every one of them canceled but then ended up with 5 unplanned lessons and had a fuego day. My Spanish has leaped after today I would say. It was my comp's b-day on Thursday and we had Red Robins for lunch and Wendys for dinner.
Some random member from another ward paid for our taco bell the other day too which was cool. I now have the SIM so there's lots of texts and calls we are making and its kinda a lot but it's not too bad, keeps me busy. Made some gluten-free pudding cake which tasted like the normal one but a little dense since I had to improvise a couple things since we don't have much at the apt.
Went to the Portland Temple Visitors Center for the Easter concert cuz my comp was in it and it was fuego. I love the Portland temple. It's such a cool temple. It's gonna be closed soon for a couple months for something, I don't remember. Had a new referral come to church and he is such an amazing person. He did just get out of jail about a week ago and has been super nervous and also excited to come to church and we had the senor missionaries the Walls pick him and he was just crying all of sacrament. It was so cool.
Had District Council which was fuego and then got Chick Fil A, I've been eating out a ton lately too. We have had like 0 food at the apt except eggs and some member food for like 2 weeks but we still alive. Some lady we tracted into got furious with us for knocking doors to share messages bout Christ and escorted us out of the building and threatened to call the cops on us. It was quite "fun".
Played some intense but super fun basketball for a few hours then kickball for a few and may be a lil sunburned. But it's fine. Was late to my doc appt but still made it and soon I should be approved to drive hopefully.
Well that's all folks. I also have a topic/story ya'll should definetly study sometime cuz it's epic. It's the Stripling Warrriors, Alma 53-58 and I just read them and its so cool how simple the things they did were. They had faith, were exactly obedient, acted with all diligence and doubted not and they were kept alive. They all were injured or hurt but they were alive, and that's like life, we get hurt physically, emotionally, and spiritually but if we do this simple powerful things we will be supported by God and he'll carry us.
