Taco Tuesday

Hola hola


Our friend Michael from Cuba is going to get baptized this Saturday and he is such a cool guy. 


Last wednesday on our noche de Fútbol there was less people but I felt like i did a lot better than the last times. Definetly love Fútbol. It's been a pretty tiring week but not for any specific reason it just was. 


Had English class on Thursday and it was just 1 person but he is really cool and speaks Haitian Creole, French, Portuguese and is learning English and Spanish. We have been getting ghosted by some of our friends from Venezuela though and it's sad they were so cool and nice.


On Friday we cleaned the church after a meal with a member and it was just me and my comp and this Sister and her husband and we vaccuumed and cleaned everything in about an hour. It was insane and very tiring.


Sunday was crazy and our schedule got absolutely destroyed by unfortunate circumstances that arose last second. Which made our day not very efficient but we did take the sacrament so that is a big W.


Had DC yesterday and it went good as always and then I went on an exchange in the Chuukese/Tongan area and we drove a lot and had some pretty good lessons with some big families. And talked to a rm (returned missionary) and it was good.


Lots of basketball this morning per usual and I did get shmacked in the face and had a bloody nose but not a bad one. Then went to a park and played some Frisbee and then some soccer which was fun but it was super hot outside and not too much shade.


It was also taco Tuesday at this one mexican restaurant and it's 6 tacos for $9 and a free soda. It was epic and very very filling. Anyways have a great week and read your scriptures daily, God is always listening to you and will bless you as you allow Him to be more present in your daily lives.

Im So Dead, But God Is Good

Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. 4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Not too many of the Branch members were at church this week cuz they were sick and/or busy but yeah.  Nothing crazy has happened really, its been quite the same as always except for Tuesday was good, had some lessons and they went super good. Time Is So Weird But Probably Like The 3rd Week Here In Portland

  More buñuelos from our amazing friends we taught and they are just so great and I'm hoping we can get them to church and then into the water next. Also went bowling which is kinda a weekly pday tradition now and I was doing really good. Sadly we ran out of time and couldn't finish the second game, but it was so fun.      The Alameda ward here is really weird. They are all old. No youth except for one deacon and the Spanish group of the ward is like 8-10 people which sucks. But it is what it is and there's a lot of work to do.    Cleaned the church saturday and there was literally 5 of us total pero esa limpieza era bueno porque después comemos Rosca de Reyes which was so good with some fire Hot chocolate.     I'm getting pretty decent at basketball since we play literally everyday except Sundays for our workouts among other things.      I just finished the BofM yesterday which I started at the beginning of at home MTC.
