Dunked

Hola hola.

Qué bolá everyone (that's Cuban for whats up)

Our friend we baptized a few weeks ago hasn't been able to make it to church but he always will just text us randomly and its really funny. We did do some service for a Catholic Charity and then a member that helps those took us out to Taco Salsa which me and my comp ate the day before but it was still really good. (Mexican food)

Had some fire lessons this week with some older friends and also taught the usual English class and have been getting lots of referrals lately and they have mostly been super cool people. The others are still cool but they just kinda dodge us a lil.

But had pur weekly meal with the Belmont family and she cooks some awesome Mexican food and has a crazy testimony story, and then the usual church cleaning right after then our ward huddle. Lots of driving lately. On Saturday had a zone training at a park mid day but my allergies were not happy.

But had a meal with the Belmonts again Saturday at their home that was like 25 minutes from our area. But still fire food as usual. And was able to drive on some higher speed limit roads which was epic. But safe of course. Then I baptized our friend Maikel after church which was cool, my first person I baptized and it was scary when he stiffened his arm and barely was able to go under the water! Then talked with the mission president's wife for a lil, she's so funny.

Pretty normal Monday with DC and lessons and soccer with a member that's like 12 or something idk. Then today we had what was called King Benjamin's Tower and it was kinda just a mission wide devotional at this field where the mission president (whole name is actually benjamin) talked and we played some field games like capture the flag, etc. And ate some lunch. Just a lot of catching up with old missionary friends too and then had my endo appt and that's all the good stuff.

I probably drove in traffic and whatnot for 3+ hours today and it was so annoying but I do enjoy being able to drive and those benefits.

I have been able to truly say "having been commissioned of Jesus Christ" this sunday and it really hit that this is His work and I'm here to help others to learn about Him and His love for everyone. Big change to help me really focus on others and how to help them and forget about myself and just do His will. And He will provide peace and strengthen us all in our trails!
