The Greenie ValVERDE
Hola hola todos!
Esta semana fue demasiado loca. Last Tuesday and Wednesday were very weird and insane. I was in a trio in a different zone for the evening then with a different elder for the night and next morning. Then I was able to pick up my son Elder Valverde Casares. Then over the next few days having lots of meetings and trainings, and also lots of lessons and missionary work. And Allison (my sister) got married this Friday so now her name is a little less cool but seems happy so that's great.
Very busy and stressed but still alive and striving. I got to conduct a baptismal interview since I am DL and it was so cool seeing how the gospel changes people. Our tire also was leaking so we had to change that on Sunday after church, and also since my son is Ecuadorian his Spanish is way way better than mine so our members already are liking him.
Had my first DC yesterday and it went ok, I don't really know but it ended fine so hopefully it went well. Then took the car to get the tire fixed at like 2pm and picked it back up at 6pm. During that time walked like 10 miles in the sun to hit contacts and walked through a Mexican Supermercado. Then waited at the church til then and picked up the car. Then we had some draining lessons and contacts and at the end of the night I had 0 energy.
Got to go on a really cool hike this morning and it was cool. All uphill the way to these waterfalls and then ran down in Crocs with another elder and it was insane, almost tripping but staying up. Then got Dairy Queen and then everyone split up and did their own things so kinda lame but we will see.
Pretty crazy though and very tiring as well. Felt like a very overwhelming experience and very stressful but now it's a lot less. It's all about perspective and the things we choose to focus on. So focus on the positive and Christ and I promise you that you will find more peace and rest while avoiding stress and pain.
