1 Year As A Missionary! Almost

Buenas todos, saludos

This week was interesting, we went crazy finding people and got 12 New peeps, but its been a fast week. DC was pretty average, lunch was good too got some mexican food from a mercado.

One of the perks of being a DL is doing the Baptismal interviews, it is a awesome chance to see their growth and their faith. Moderating is still going well and not too bad lately.

We had Zone Conference this last Thursday that was fire, lots of good counsel from President Botchway. He is so awesome and being in Hillsboro is closer to them so we see them more and its epic. Went on exchanges on friday with the Zls who also are spanish so that was cool. Pretty good day, sadly out noche de Fútbol was canceled due to some confusion. 

Had a fire lesson with a friend from  Venezuela and a recent convert from Argentina came with us and they were just instantly friends and it was such a cool lesson. Sunday was also good, no friends came to church but we (us 6 missionaries and our wml and ward missionary) gave talks and sang a hymn. 

Had a good, busy week filled with blessings and opportunities to grow. I am so grateful to be able to be part of this work of spreading Gods Love for everyone!

Im So Dead, But God Is Good

Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. 4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Not too many of the Branch members were at church this week cuz they were sick and/or busy but yeah.  Nothing crazy has happened really, its been quite the same as always except for Tuesday was good, had some lessons and they went super good. Time Is So Weird But Probably Like The 3rd Week Here In Portland

  More buñuelos from our amazing friends we taught and they are just so great and I'm hoping we can get them to church and then into the water next. Also went bowling which is kinda a weekly pday tradition now and I was doing really good. Sadly we ran out of time and couldn't finish the second game, but it was so fun.      The Alameda ward here is really weird. They are all old. No youth except for one deacon and the Spanish group of the ward is like 8-10 people which sucks. But it is what it is and there's a lot of work to do.    Cleaned the church saturday and there was literally 5 of us total pero esa limpieza era bueno porque después comemos Rosca de Reyes which was so good with some fire Hot chocolate.     I'm getting pretty decent at basketball since we play literally everyday except Sundays for our workouts among other things.      I just finished the BofM yesterday which I started at the beginning of at home MTC.
