Another Week Serving The Lord

This week was definetly a week. Didnt feel like it but it was, pretty interesting as well. 

DC was pretty good last week, President Botchways showed up out of nowhere and scared me. But it was good then helped some people pack up to move a lil but they were not ready so we couldnt do too much. But then had a pretty chill day. 

We were trioing on Wednesday since our roommates comp got his Visa and went to Taiwan, it was pretty average day, him and my comp act quite younger then their age sometimes but it was fine. Had our Noche del Libro de Mormón and helped some sisters move apartments.

Me and my comp fasted on wednesday night and Thursday morning for our friend Alejandro to have a change of heart and not get baptized in another church, we dont know if he did or night cuz he hasnt really answered us...but yeah had some good lessons on Thursday and a lil ZLC. 

Did an emergency shopping run on Friday since we had like 0 food in the apt minus all the snacks my mom sends me. Then had a good noche de Fútbol and Keiber, our 18 yr old friend on date for this sunday came and I might have hurt my ankle a lil. But all good. 

Church was pretty good, had our venezuelan family come and it was awesome. Then had a member meal with this lady and also had to leave early and come back because our roommates on bikes got separated in the rain so we helped them find each other. Then today got a haircut from that same member today. Pretty awesome tho. Not so awesome with my comp but hay vamos and everything has a reason and will bless your life if you learn from it.

Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. 4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Not too many of the Branch members were at church this week cuz they were sick and/or busy but yeah.  Nothing crazy has happened really, its been quite the same as always except for Tuesday was good, had some lessons and they went super good. Time Is So Weird But Probably Like The 3rd Week Here In Portland

  More buñuelos from our amazing friends we taught and they are just so great and I'm hoping we can get them to church and then into the water next. Also went bowling which is kinda a weekly pday tradition now and I was doing really good. Sadly we ran out of time and couldn't finish the second game, but it was so fun.      The Alameda ward here is really weird. They are all old. No youth except for one deacon and the Spanish group of the ward is like 8-10 people which sucks. But it is what it is and there's a lot of work to do.    Cleaned the church saturday and there was literally 5 of us total pero esa limpieza era bueno porque después comemos Rosca de Reyes which was so good with some fire Hot chocolate.     I'm getting pretty decent at basketball since we play literally everyday except Sundays for our workouts among other things.      I just finished the BofM yesterday which I started at the beginning of at home MTC.
