Super Fast Week

Hola todos, saludos!

This week has been pretty good, super fast but good. Last week we went to McDonalds with a member and it was pretty cool, also my comp was super sick that day so for English Class I took our roommate and it was a huge class. Then the next day I woke up super dead but then by lunch I felt great.

But have had some crazy days of just Teaching or driving,  did exchanges with some other spanish elders as well. It was fun I led out with Elder Glenn, also saw my son Elder ValverdeCasares. It was great, then was a little burnt out ok Friday but pressed forward and had an awesome soccer night. 

Then Saturday was pretty chill, ate some pollo con tajado which was so good. Then were teaching driving, more teaching and all that which was fine. Then no friends came to church this sunday but we had our 4 recent converts come and like 4 returning members. Then did a baptismal interview and then we gave Keiver (our recent convert) the Aaronic Preisthood.

Pretty chill sunday and all that. This week flew by tho and today we have played pickleball, thrifted at an antique store and called the fam. Pretty normal stuff, but yeah. The Boook of Mormon has so many answers to questions I didnt even have and it brings such peace as I read it. Moroni 10:3-5 is awesome for that.

Im So Dead, But God Is Good

Hola Had a doc appt that we were a lil late to but it was still fine, then spent almost 2 hours in traffic and then had a mission wide zoom call that was good. Then the next day spent 4+ hours at a Firestone to get the tires on our car fixed, but did leave and get lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant that was really good. And some random peeps there paid for us which was cool. Also had dinner with the Constans which was fun later that day (Wednesday)         On Monday, April 1st, an elder thought it would be funny to shove flowers in my face to smell them at chick fil a, and then I kept sneezing all day and for the rest of the week. But each day something added on. First day after that my nose was runny, second my throat, then on Thursday I developed a fever at the end of the day. 4th Of Julio

Hola a todos.  This was a long week cuz of the 4th of July they moved our pday to today so we went 1.5 weeks inbetween pdays but it has finally arrived.  We were told about this guy who was stranded on the side of the road right at the edge of our area and hadn't eaten for 2 days. We didn't know what to really do, so eventually ended up talking with him and brought him some KFC and then went back each day while he waited for a part to fix his car and brought food so he wouldnt be hungry. It was pretty cool getting to know him and to be able to help too. Went to a cultural activity for the community in Canby where we live and got some free lunch (carne asada) and it was good and talked to lots of Hispanics too. Time Is So Weird But Probably Like The 3rd Week Here In Portland

  More buñuelos from our amazing friends we taught and they are just so great and I'm hoping we can get them to church and then into the water next. Also went bowling which is kinda a weekly pday tradition now and I was doing really good. Sadly we ran out of time and couldn't finish the second game, but it was so fun.      The Alameda ward here is really weird. They are all old. No youth except for one deacon and the Spanish group of the ward is like 8-10 people which sucks. But it is what it is and there's a lot of work to do.    Cleaned the church saturday and there was literally 5 of us total pero esa limpieza era bueno porque después comemos Rosca de Reyes which was so good with some fire Hot chocolate.     I'm getting pretty decent at basketball since we play literally everyday except Sundays for our workouts among other things.      I just finished the BofM yesterday which I started at the beginning of at home MTC.
